On Saturday, February 28, the d’Coque Gymnasium hosted the National U11 Talent Cup as well as the 2026 National Individual Championships (U13 to Seniors).
Nearly 360 spectators enjoyed a day full of intense matches and excellent sportsmanship, from the first to the last bow.
This edition also saw an increase in registrations, particularly in the adult categories—a positive sign highlighting the growth and vitality of judo in Luxembourg.
The Federation had the honor of welcoming the Minister of Sports, Martine Hansen, along with several representatives from the Luxembourg Olympic and Sports Committee. Their presence underscores the support given to our sport.
Congratulations to all the new national champions and to every judoka for their dedication and fair play.
The Federation also extends sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event a success: volunteers, referees, clubs, coaches, behind-the-scenes staff, committee members, and the organizing team. Their work is essential to the smooth running of these competitions and to the ongoing development of Luxembourgish judo.
A big thanks also to Isabelle Bernard and Samson Kadouche for the photos taken throughout the day. You can view all their pictures by clicking the button below.
