A Luxembourg U15, U18 and U21 delegation competed this weekend at the International Tournament in Sindelfingen, Germany, where our young judokas faced strong international opposition.

🥉 Bálazs Szabo (+90 kg, Judo Club Stroossen) claimed the bronze medal after an excellent performance throughout the tournament.

Ugo Marchiori (-55 kg, Judo JuJitsu Dudelange / Sportlycée Lëtzebuerg) delivered a strong performance and finished in a promising 5th place.

Darlene Donfack (-70 kg, Judo Club Stroossen) also finished 5th, just missing out on a place on the podium.

Ismaël Lustac (-60 kg, Judo Club Stroossen / Sportlycée Lëtzebuerg) finished unplaced.

Mark Weis (-66 kg, Judo & Jiu-Jitsu Club Differdange / Sportlycée Lëtzebuerg) finished unplaced.

Adrien Devitt (-55 kg, Judo Club Stroossen) finished unplaced.

Raphaël De Marco (-50 kg, Judo JuJitsu Dudelange / Sportlycée Lëtzebuerg) finished unplaced.

Gabriel Serre (-40 kg, Judo Club Stroossen) finished unplaced.

As a precautionary measure, Micha Welter did not compete. Returning from a knee injury, he experienced pain during the warm-up. The focus is now on being fully fit for the Paks European Cup next weekend.
