Ordinary General Assembly of FLJudo – Wednesday, 22 April 2026

The Luxembourg Judo Federation (FLJudo) held its Ordinary General Assembly on Wednesday, 22 April 2026. A key moment to review the past year, exchange with clubs, and present the outlook for the upcoming season.

A confirmed growth dynamic

The past year confirms the continued rise of judo in Luxembourg, with a new record of nearly 2,000 licences — doubling in five years 📈. A clear sign of the vitality of the clubs and the commitment of everyone involved in the sport.

Important structural developments

Several major decisions were highlighted:

  • the creation of the position of General Director, a key step in the federation’s professionalisation
  • the election of two new members to the Board of Directors
  • the affiliation of the Mondorf-les-Bains club
  • the update of the statutes, including the integration of ALIS and the addition of an article strengthening respect for human rights and human dignity

A positive sporting momentum

On the sporting side, results continue to reflect the steady progress of Luxembourg judo 🥋. Athletes’ performances and the strengthening of the development structure keep delivering results.

An emotional moment

The Assembly was also marked by a tribute to Anetta MOSR, who officially brought her high-level career to an end. A strong and emotional moment for the entire judo community.

Thanks and outlook

The Board of Directors warmly thanked the volunteers, staff, and public and private partners for their ongoing support.

FLJudo also acknowledged the presence of the Luxembourg Olympic and Sporting Committee (COSL), the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC), and the Luxembourg Institute for High Performance in Sports (LIHPS).
