Passage of 1st Dan grading: 11 new black belts in Luxembourg
On Saturday 27 June, the Beaufort dojo hosted the 1st Dan grading examination.
Eleven judokas from different clubs across Luxembourg presented themselves before the grading panel in order to obtain their black belt, a symbol of commitment, perseverance and technical mastery in judo.
Despite high temperatures, the candidates began the day with the demonstration of the Nage-no-Kata, followed in the afternoon by the technical examinations (UV).
The overall level was considered very satisfactory, reflecting consistent work throughout the season. All candidates successfully passed the tests and were awarded the 1st Dan grade.
Congratulations to these new black belts for their dedication and progress. Many thanks as well to the Judo Club Beaufort for their warm welcome and excellent organisation of the event, as well as to the public for their respectful presence throughout the day.
