On June 13, 2026, the Luxembourg Judo Federation devoted an entire day to promoting a judo that is accessible to everyone.

The morning began with a Para-Judo training course organized in collaboration with INAPS, the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC), and the Centre for the Development of Visual Competences (CDV). Coaches combined theoretical learning with practical sessions alongside young participants from the CDV, gaining concrete tools to adapt their training, improve communication on the tatami, and better support judoka with visual impairments.

In the afternoon, FLJudo took part in the “Together without Limits” event organized by Special Olympics Luxembourg at the Coque. The judo workshop welcomed participants of all ages and abilities in a warm and friendly atmosphere, showcasing the core values of our sport: respect, courage, solidarity, and inclusion.

One of the highlights of the day was the visit of Mr. Max Hahn, Minister for Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception, who stepped onto the tatami to take part in a judo initiation session alongside Special Olympics athletes. His participation delivered a powerful message: inclusion is best experienced through action and shared experiences.

This inspiring day perfectly reflected FLJudo’s commitment to making judo a sport that is open and accessible to all. Because on the tatami, everyone belongs.
